In the history of Albanian public law, an important phase, in addition to the Constitution of the Albanian Republic of 1925, is represented by the Monarchy of King Zog I, from 1928 to 1939. During this period, an authoritarian centralization of powers occurred, but stability was also guaranteed to Albanian society, and a deep reform of the Albanian legal system was also initiated, according to Western models. In 1939, however, the aggression by fascist Italy to Albania abruptly put an end to the Albanian Zogist Monarchy.

During this period, an authoritarian centralization of powers occurred, but stability was also guaranteed to Albanian society, and a deep reform of the Albanian legal system was also initiated, according to Western models. In 1939, however, the aggression by fascist Italy to Albania abruptly put an end to the Albanian Zogist Monarchy.| File | Dimensione del file | Formato | |
