This contribution explores territorial commons as instruments for regeneration and cohesion in mountain areas, focusing on the Orobic massif, the Upper Seriana Valley, and the Scalve Valley. Through a transdisciplinary approach, it investigates the historical relationship between communities, resources, and Alpine landscapes, considering collective management systems such as civic uses, Vicinie, valley statutes, mountain pastures, and forests. The chapter interprets commons as social, spatial, and environmental infrastructures able to support reterritorialization, landscape care, and shared governance. In this perspective, the “contratto d’abitare” emerges as a tool for co-programming and co-designing new forms of mountain habitability.
