Grafismi metrici nel manoscritto di Franco Sacchetti (Firenze, Bibl. Medicea Laurenziana, Ashb. 574)

The article proposes an investigation into the autograph “metric writing” in Franco Sacchetti’s Ashburnhamian manuscript 574, which contains the 'Libro delle Rime' up to c. 70r. On the one hand, there is a tendency to mark vowels or syllables affected by synalepha or syneresis with underscored dots ; on the other hand, there are several cases in which the hendecasyllables in the autograph appear to exceed the caesura. The first part of the collection is particularly interesting from the point of view of a study of the meaning of the metrical data : the author accompanies the texts with headings and captions that also take into account musical intonations.

L’articolo propone un’indagine sui “grafismi metrici” autografi nel manoscritto Ashburnhamiano 574 di Franco Sacchetti, latore fino a c. 70r del 'Libro delle Rime'. Da un lato si registra la tendenza a segnalare con punti sottoscritti le vocali o le sillabe interessate da sinalefe o sineresi, dall’altro si manifestano diversi casi in cui gli endecasillabi risultano, nell’autografo, apparentemente eccedenti in sede di cesura. La prima parte della silloge è, nell’ottica di uno studio sul senso del dato metrico, particolarmente interessante : l’autore correda infatti i testi di rubriche e didascalie che rendono conto anche delle intonazioni musicali.
