The integration of technology into language education has opened up transformative pathways for teaching and learning in specialized domains such as Legal English. Drawing on theoretical frameworks from the fields of applied linguistics, legal communication, and pedagogy, this chapter situates technology-enhanced learning within the evolving landscape of Legal English instruction. Particular attention is paid to how digital environments, such as e-learning platforms, immersive virtual simulations, and AI–driven applications, can facilitate the acquisition of genre-specific language, foster authentic communicative competence and support learners’ engagement with real-world legal contexts. However, while these innovations promise inclusivity, flexibility, and learner-centered engagement, this chapter also critically examines the persistent challenges that have accompanied their implementation. Issues of access, affordability, digital literacy and ethical governance are analyzed, acknowledging the disparities that shape technology adoption. Furthermore, this chapter problematizes the epistemological implications of such integrations, emphasizing the potential risks of semantic dilution and conceptual simplification that may arise via aesthetic overdesign, gamification, or algorithmic mediation. Ultimately, this chapter argues for a balanced, critically informed approach to the digital mediation of Legal English, one that preserves the discipline’s conceptual precision while embracing the pedagogical affordances of technology.

Abstract
Ultimately, this chapter argues for a balanced, critically informed approach to the digital mediation of Legal English, one that preserves the discipline’s conceptual precision while embracing the pedagogical affordances of technology.| File | Dimensione del file | Formato | |
