Un progetto per lo studio linguistico dei documenti notarili dell’Archivio Storico Diocesano di Bobbio: prime notizie

The essay outlines the methods and questionnaires of a research initiative focused on the notarial documentation deposited with the Bobbio section of the Archivio storico diocesano of Piacenza-Bobbio, carried out by the University of Bergamo within the framework of the CHANGES PNRR extended partnership. The main object of the research is a group of registers produced by late medieval notaries connected to the Bobbio episcopal see. This corpus, which has received an archival description within the project, is here presented under the perspective of its interest with regard to the material structure of the manuscripts, the professional profile of the scribes, and the development of their linguistic and lexical features.
