These proceedings present research on the design, management and transformation of production systems, as discussed at the 45th IFIP International Conference on Advances in Production Management Systems (APMS 2026), held in Bergamo, Italy. The contributions examine the interplay between sustainability, data-driven decision-making and human-centricity across manufacturing, service and supply chain contexts. Key research areas include circular production, supply network resilience, smart manufacturing, digital twins, artificial intelligence, work and skills, and production management theory and education. The seven-volume proceedings comprise 269 papers selected from 320 submissions through a double-blind review process, offering a multidisciplinary perspective on contemporary challenges in production management research.
