Boris Pasternak e la traduzione

Boris Pasternak was not only one of the greatest Russian translators of the 20th-century, but also translation theorist that expressed his opinions in some articles in which he demonstrates his belonging to the school of "free" as opposed to that of "submissives" translators, to use terms coined by P. Vyazemsky in the early 19th century.

Boris Pasternak non fu solo uno dei più grandi traduttori russi del ventesimo secolo, ma anche teorico della traduzione che si espresse in alcuni articoli in cui dimostra la sua appartenenza alla scuola dei traduttori "liberi" contrapposta a quella dei "sottomessi", per usare termini coniati da P. Vjazemskij all'inizio dell'Ottocento.
