The article aims to show how the university internship programs may be fundamental in terms of educational experience of the “complexity” of the contemporary reality and in terms of “experiencing oneself” in a professional educational context. By means of some examples of university internships related to migratory contexts and intercultural educational processes, I’d like to focus on the plurality of the competences that (together with the experience of the disorientation and of the limits) some students of Educational Sciences of the University of Bergamo have created and have involved to expose themselves, both in Italy and in international contexts, and get in the game of the intercultural contexts, giving themselves a challenge (first, as “persons” and, then, as “professional educators”) to open themselves to the complexity of the educational reality.
