Sending Starships into deep space is a dream that human being has begun to consider when the first flight had success. Since then a lot of progress has been done but without breaking the ultimate barrier we have to pass: the speed of light. In this chapter, we describe traversable worm-holes, hypothetical astrophysical objects encoded in the general theory of gravitation, which could be used to break this limit.

Abstract
Sending Starships into deep space is a dream that human being has begun to consider when the first flight had success. Since then a lot of progress has been done but without breaking the ultimate barrier we have to pass: the speed of light. In this chapter, we describe traversable worm-holes, hypothetical astrophysical objects encoded in the general theory of gravitation, which could be used to break this limit.File allegato/i alla scheda:
