Dante’s quotations appear in the latin commentary on Seneca’s Epistolae written by domenican friar Domenico da Peccioli at the end of XIVth century. A study on each of them reveal how Dante is considered an auctoritas as well as classical and christian authors; special attention is drawn to the unusual form prima, secunda, tertua Comedia that Domenico sometimes uses.
