The term abstraction has had several meanings in the history of knowledge. Depending on the context in which it is employed , he has had several different constructions. In the case of genetic psychology and, in parallel, in that genetic Epistemology the term abstraction has always been used by Jean Piaget in tune with the term reflection more generally with that of building and awareness. The paper aims to take especially the last teachings of Piaget (without forgetting the previous contributions) and to illustrate schematically some new results that are currently considered important and innovative, such as the introduction of new concepts in the early writings Piaget had not deliberately considered. All this always in a relevant perspective to genetic psychology as well as to genetic epistemology.

Abstract
The term abstraction has had several meanings in the history of knowledge. Depending on the context in which it is employed , he has had several different constructions. In the case of genetic psychology and, in parallel, in that genetic Epistemology the term abstraction has always been used by Jean Piaget in tune with the term reflection more generally with that of building and awareness. The paper aims to take especially the last teachings of Piaget (without forgetting the previous contributions) and to illustrate schematically some new results that are currently considered important and innovative, such as the introduction of new concepts in the early writings Piaget had not deliberately considered. All this always in a relevant perspective to genetic psychology as well as to genetic epistemology.File | Dimensione del file | Formato | |
