According to the pedagogical discussions taking place at both international and national levels, training is a privileged channel for students to access employment and to promote individual lifelong learning. Taking these reflections as a starting point, this paper intends to investigate the pedagogical reasons that form the theoretical underpinning of on-the-job training, which has been neither sufficiently researched nor implemented in Italian universities.
Secondo il dibattito pedagogico internazionale e nazionale, il training on-the-job è un canale privilegiato per gli studenti che accedono all'occupazione e per promuovere l'apprendimento individuale lungo tutto l'arco della vita. Considerando queste riflessioni come punto di partenza, questo documento intende esaminare le ragioni pedagogiche che costituiscono la base teorica del training on-the-job, che non è stato né studiato né implementato in modo adeguato nelle università italiane.
