The traditional format of academic teaching in Italy is mainly characterised by a monologic style. As outlined in the euroWiss-Project the major purpose of this kind of knowledge mediation is transfer and consolidation of canonised knowledge. In linguistic terms it consists of a concatenation of speech actions. The article provides some insights into this teaching/learning discourse by giving an overview on practices of knowledge transfer, related linguistic actions and (pre)academic writing by Italian students of German.

Abstract (ger): | Der Beitrag gibt Einblicke in den Lehr-Lern-Diskurs an italienischen Universitäten. Im Folgenden werden zunächst der Forschungszusammenhang umrissen und Verfahren der Wissensvermittlung und damit zusammenhängende sprachliche Handlungen im Überblick skizziert. Im Anschluss sollen einige dieser Verfahren anhand von Beispielen aus der Lehre und aus studentischen Arbeiten im DaF-Bereich veranschaulicht werden. Insbesondere geht es dabei um die Verbalisierung von Einschätzungen. | |
