Lugares para la promoción de la salud y de la higiene en el Madrid de los años 30 en la revista Cultura Integral y Femenina (1933-1936)

The article presents the magazine Cultura Integral y Femenina, which was published in Madrid from 1933 to 1936. This publication, aimed at women, which had as its goal the struggle to ignorance and education of women in very different fields, was especially interested in the promotion of healthy lifestyles and in the diffusion of notions related to health and hygiene and in its pages we can find prestigious collaborations of doctors, scientists and experts. With the dual purpose of highlighting the effective work of the city and government on the one hand, and the excellent health level of the capital on the other, the magazine publishes a series of reportages on institutions and buildings dedicated to health and the prevention of diseases, thus contributing to project a modern and efficient image of Madrid.
