The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted society, affecting not only the health of people but also that of companies, resulting in a disruption of operations and a wave of uncertainty. In this changing environment, companies have to react and deal with the different impacts of the pandemic. This research aims to study the successful responses of leading companies, focusing on procurement. This business function was one of the most stressed areas during the pandemic and has acquired an increasingly active and strategic role. In analyzing the reaction particular attention will be given to the role of digitalization.
