This contribution is intended to highlight the edu-cational value of technical and vocational training, moving away from a reductive conception of mere preparation for work or “fallback” to a traditional education system, towards a model centred on the concept of “bildung”. Training understood not as the mere acquisition of skills to be employable, but becomes a process of self-realisation and self-training, where the subject is formed through a continuous alternation of theory and practice, where learning and work coexist in a relationship of parity and mutual reinforcement. In this scenar-io, we emphsise the need for a school that does not select elitistically but values the uniqueness of each one, and promotes the discovery of each one’s talents.

Abstract
