Promoting peace through education requires collective commitment and actions of joint responsibility between the different interlocutors: school, family and the entire community. For teachers, the strategic use of innovative teaching methodologies is essential for the success of this educational and peace mission. Children’s and adolescents’ literature can serve as a valuable tool to promote a process of imitation, engage the reader through questioning, and provide an opportunity for personal critical reflection. The educational project of Palazzo Canavese serves as a tangible example of successfully addressing these issues, even with young children, contributing to their individual and social growth with a focus on peace, inclusion, and active citizenship.
