Extended Reality is rapidly transforming multiple industries by blending physical and digital environments to create immersive and interactive experiences. With the global XR market projected to surpass $1.1 trillion by 2030, its growth is fueled by advancements in sensory technologies and expanding device adoption. However, widespread implementation remains limited due to challenges such as lack of standardization, skill gaps, and unclear integration strategies. This paper examines the application of XR in four strategic domains: product design and manufacturing, industrial ergonomics and training, and healthcare. Through a review of current trends and case studies, the paper explores how XR contributes to human-centered innovation within the frameworks of Industry 5.0 and Healthcare 5.0.
