Teaching and Learning Centers (TLCs) are specialized facilities established in many universities and higher education institutions to support and enhance the quality of teaching and learning. Over the past fifty years, TLCs have undergone significant evolution, shifting from traditional pedagogical approaches to innovative models that address the changing demands of education. In Italy, the development of TLCs has been strongly influenced by the strategic initiatives of ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes) and MIUR (Ministry of Education, University, and Research).
