The objective of this paper is that of providing an overview of the use of videogames as valuable didactic tools that can potentially foster the underlying processes in the development of reading competencies among students with dyslexia. The research results conducted in 2016 are presented. This study aimed at offering teachers a series of guidelines useful for the selection and use of these tools in the teaching-learning process.
